Burkina Faso Customers Inspect STS Prepaid Water Meter Production for African Water Projects

Two customers from Burkina Faso recently visited a water meter manufacturing facility to inspect STS prepaid water meter solutions designed for African water supply projects.

During the visit, the customers observed the full production workflow of an ongoing African order of 8,000 STS prepaid water meters, including assembly, calibration, functional testing, and final inspection. The transparent production process provided clear insight into product quality and manufacturing standards.

STS prepaid water meters are widely adopted across Africa due to their secure payment mechanism, efficient revenue collection, and ability to reduce non-revenue water. The meters use encrypted token systems and feature strong anti-tamper protection, ensuring stable operation in challenging environments.

The clients showed particular interest in how prepaid metering supports water utilities in improving cash flow and simplifying customer management. Engineers explained how the meters can be customized according to local requirements, including power supply, communication interfaces, and installation conditions.

By reviewing an active production project rather than samples alone, the Burkina Faso customers gained confidence in the supplier’s project execution ability, delivery reliability, and long-term service support.
